Our Wedding Registry

Hi folks! We are taking an early "honeymoon" out west, from July 14 to August 18, 2008. If you'd like, you could help make this trip easier for us. Here are some of our plans. We will update this site with news and pictures about our adventures as we go!

$720: Our Amtrak train ride from Altoona, PA to Portland, OR, with a stop in West Glacier, Montana.

$ : Five nights in Apgar Campground, West Glacier National Park, Montana, where we will be dayhiking in the park.

$150: 3-day car rental for while we are in the Portland area.

$160: Two nights stay at Edgefield Manor (Portland)

$30: Camping at Mount St. Helens

$24: Train from Portland to Seattle

$216: Three nights stay @ the Green Tortoise Hostel in Seattle

$30: Ferries to San Juan Islands

$144 : Four nights of camping on Lopez Island

$500: One week car rental from Seattle to San Francisco

$ : Camping on Washington, Oregon, and California coasts on our way to see Stacy's sister, Tracey, in Sunnyvale, California.

$20: Purchasing California produce at the Milk Pail Market to cook for Tracey and Rob.

$400: Flight home from San Francisco to Pittsburgh

Camping/Hiking Supplies for trip:

$160: National Parks Pass

$30: Backcountry fees in Olympic National Park

$75: Bear proof food canister (so Gina doesn't get eaten by a grizzly!)

$25: headlamp (necessary for spotting grizzlies as to avoid them!)

$55: Bear spray (so Gina doesn't get eaten by a grizzly!)

$50: One week's worth of dehydrated food (Yum!)
